New bike day!

Mikey are you planning a possible amphibious adaptation to coupe with on coming global warming. Or are you just hiding your tender.

There were 2 operating off Hunstanton beach , doing rides for the public.
I think they were named the Wash Monsters, not sure if they are still operating.

There used to be one operating in London taking tourists onto the Thames.
known as a Duck, as some couldn’t remember what the real letters are!

Steady, fitted a few boring bits, voltage reg and the like.
The yokes are WIP,as is the front hub spacing etc,
Once I get the hub back it can go for powder,as can the rim ( 3 week lead)
I need to get the bike on its wheels to fit the exhaust and sump etc.
Then the exhaust link pipe can be fabricated and the support bracket welded to the subframe ,then subframe can go for powder, paintwork can go off.
You know,you’ve been there.
Might go quiet for a few weeks.:-)

I sat with a beer and took a look at what’s still needed ,
Gotta earn it before you can spend it ,,eeek.
About another £3k to go
Surprising how all the little bits add up, but I’d much rather spend the money on something that has analog character and feels alive than a modern digital bike full of electronic shite I neither want or need!

Couldn’t agree more,
And it’s a bespoke bike,
Cheaper than brand new plastic fantastic,
Lighter than “ modern” stuff.
Guaranteed to be a talking point when a few of them turn up on holidays.:-)
