Can do Gerry.Hi Chris, if not too late can you post more photos of these being transformed.
Thanks
Gerry

Very nice piece of work Chris. Can do Gerry.
Only posted to start with as I wrongly read that he was using WP yokes, I realized after posting that it was Yokes are WIP which I now assume is work in progress.
Here is a photo of the headstock pin which I had already made whilst waiting for the ally.

Wouldn’t that 65LS in the F&W section make a great ‘Sleeper’..I want one. I don't think I need one, but I like it.

I only meant the pin.Wouldn’t that 65LS in the F&W section make a great ‘Sleeper’..![]()
Funnily enough I saw a young lad today on a very original little 45; and was pleased to note young eyes can appreciate what we know..I only meant the pin.
Already have the bike. I might mention it to someone else though. Good call!
Ally billets bored 50mm for stanchions, bored and tapped M24 for headstock pin.
Top yoke bored 28mm with 32.6 mm counter bore for a snug fit for the top nut.
Next job is to start rough shaping.

If it was a bronze colour, that's my mate Paul, I sold him thatFunnily enough I saw a young lad today on a very original little 45; and was pleased to note young eyes can appreciate what we know..
However, on closer examination I noticed a rather large front disc, a braced Brembo, with billet braced fork legs.? Hang on a minute.
Yep, he was rocking with a Siebenrock short stroke 860..He certainly had a vision which was beyond the anxiety I get when fitting an oil filter shim, so I steered him in Mikeyboy‘s direction..![]()
Brilliant. Need more stuff like this please Mistacat. No CNC here.
On to the rotary table to radius the ends, roughing cutter then fine.
Also used a fine cutter to tidy up the sides.

I bet you are proud of that.Jump forward a few days.
Bored and counter bored for handle bars.
Clamps drilled , counter bored, tapped M8 and slotted.
Sanded back to remove machining marks and polished.
Assembled to allow for measurement to machine wheel spacers as the wheel is offset, and to design and machine the mounting for that posh Brembo calliper.
