I had 1/2 hr in the media blaster to check for any rotted seams etc .
All good,
It’s had a few dents filled but that’s no problem.

IIRC I made 3 or 4 last time,when I eventually sold them I probably only covered the cost of materials and subcontract,
I’m not a big fan of working for free.:-(

Simon from Kawasaki Triple Parts up in Lancashire dabbled in getting bespoke replacement parts eg no longer available. The minimum quantities for far east suppliers plus having to become the “ quality inspector/ rejector “ meant he could never make a shilling out of it.

Hmmmmm.
Ok ,I get the orange disc ,I’ll probably vapour blast the anodising off.
The red HT leads however will stay.
It’ll all make sense in the end.
