I picked my new GS LC up from Jeffries at 9.00am this morning.

I then took it for a 140 mile ride calling in at squires café for a butty.

Initial thoughts on the bike are firstly the engine...It PULLS LIKE A TRAIN. Totally different to my 1200 gs adv I have ridden over past 6 years. The clutch is really light and the gear change a lot smoother. The journos slagging this bike off must have had a hidden agenda because there was no sign of 'tank slapping'. I would recommend anyone with a current gs to try the new one and break open the piggy banks :D:D.
Gonna do another full day tomorrow around n.yorks ( weather permitting ;) )

Interesting to hear that there's a big difference felt between the old ad new.......and that's on a brand new, unworn in engine :)

I wonder if they'll pick up a few more pony powers when they get to the 14-18K mark like all the previous boxers have? :nenau

Keep enjoying :thumb2

The crash bars as shown in the picture in the first post look a lot better than the ones on the old 1200 adventure very solid in in the right place

Fantastic:thumb They sound lovely as well, as I got to hear them as they rode off:beerjug:

I suppose im a bit of a giant...6' 4" and 102kg. That's why ive always had gs adventures, perfect bike for me. I will be buying a new adventure when they are out so there will be a low mileage gs lc for sale then ( well maybe not too low mileage as this bike is great:D:D:D ).

Any thoughts on the tyre valve been in the spoke of the wheels?
