Riding for over 55years and maybe around 130-140 bikes owned I've just purchased my first Ducati.
I initially went to have a look at a very very clean 2010 1200 Multistrada. It was a very nice bike but at 70 years of age in December, me not the bike, it was just too much of a handful.
Getting back to the showroom I spied a couple of 950 Multistradas. I took out an absolutely mint 2018 model in red with an impeccable Ducati service history. I was looking for something with a bit of panache, something just to take out on high days and dry days and something that would have a bit more go than my V85. So I could go and have a bit of a play now and again. The Multistrada seemed to fit the bill perfectly, so a deal was done.
I'm not selling the V85 it's a fantastic bike, but the multistrada will hopefully just scratch a little itch that I occasionally have.
It's a lovely bit of kit.
