New bike to me

Wrinkly, regarding the clutch issue, I have leftover from my 2019 950S a pair of Evo Tech shorty brake and clutch levers (foldable) which have span adjustment, let me know if they may be of interest to you.

Many thanks ,but I really don't like short levers.

Does it have the quickshift and autoblipper Steve? Must admit it works way smoother, far more slick on my 950 than on my previous BMs. As you say, that engine's a peach and thrives on revs. Give it the beans and it has a surprising turn of speed.

I think I have some sort of technological dyslexia. I just don't get it.
Show it to Joanne or one of the youngsters and they’ll help
Go through each step by step (you’re good at fixing bikes) and it’ll make sense

There's a lovely pic of the bike on page 1, do we need more pics? Give Wrinkly a bit of space to ride his new bike rather than fart arsing about trying to post pics from his phone 😉. A ride report after a month of gelling with his new steed would be an interesting read

I'll definitely do that. Off for my first ride out tomorrow.

Even I can attach pictures and I’m a complete numpty where tech is concerned. Just press the atteach files button as shown. A box appears on screen, touch photo library, select which pictures you want to add, touch add. Job done.

The way I do it is tap the “ attach files “ tab, choose “ photo library “, tap on the pictures I want to upload, tap “add” then when the little picture is there tap “ insert “ then FULL IMAGE not Thumbnail! That way you get a bigger picture and not a pissy little one that you can’t frigging see! :D

Well very very reluctantly the Multistrada is going to have to Go. After trying various things, the most successful being setting off in 2nd gear, I just cannot manage the clutch with my tremor. I stalled it 3 times at the same set of lights on Friday.
To say I'm gutted is an understatement. I'll replace it with something whilst a post 2019 Multistrada with the hydraulic clutch comes along.

That's a shame 😕, it's a lovely bike. Get a test ride on the hydraulic clutch version to ensure it is useable for yourself ( I'm sure you would anyway ). Good luck

Well, it cost me £275 to experience the Multistrada, a figure that I thought was more than fair. In exchange I shall be picking up a 2017 BMW R1200rs in black. Mark at Teasdales will be keeping an eye open for a Multisrada 950S, in the hope that the hydraulic clutch will be manageable for me.

Unfortunately not new to me but to a wealthy friend of a friend. It will be added to his collection of mainly Ducatis & MV Agustas. I’ve not been lucky enough to see the collection but it includes limited edition Panagales, a Desmosedici RR & a 750SS green frame.
Like all of his bikes this won’t be ridden & probably not ever started.
Oh to be a rich man!

I just picked up my first ever ducati after 22yrs of bmw ownership, a 24 plate multistrada v4 pikes peak
I bought a 25’ Pikes Peak in September. Sold it last week. Stunning chassis and road handling but I didn’t gel with the engine, found it very unrefined under 4000 revs and I didn’t really feel the 30 hp advantage it has over my Kawa Ninja 1000sx. It’s very thirsty, reserve light comes on after only 260 km although I tried to stretch it. I bought a 1300 GS which suits my sort of riding better, will keep the Ninja though. Cheers
