Although I was expecting less new bikes this year because of the new model due in Milan this autumn.
Is that officially confirmed?

I am gutted for you.
BUT, you have a lovely new toy coming![]()
I wonder how gutted the salesman will be when I tell him I dont want it unless ???, haven't signed anything yet. Technically I haven't bought anything
How long does it take BMW to build a bike and deliver it to the UK, I ordered a new GS 3 weeks ago and was told it would be about 1 month, I phoned yesterday to see if there was any news, and was told acording to their computer it was still in construction and they didn't know when it would be in. I know I'm probably being a little impatient, but a month to build and deliver seems a little long to me for a company that must be able to knock a fair number out daily and probably ships weekly to the UK, Anybody with similar experiences ?
Ordered mine on a Saturday, picked it up on the following Thursday
What exactly did you order, as I understand it, they build to order, and so I imagine if it was allready in the country it was a cancelled order, or a demonstrator that hadn't actually been used for that purpose ??, maybe

Same old story - I called a few dealers yesterday asking about availability on a 1200GS without ABS - partly 'cause I don't want it and partly 'cause it's a lot extra to pay - the only non-ABS bikes appear to be low-chassis & I don't want that either.
If anyone knows of a dealer with availability on a basic or basic + comfort pack, speak up now
The free luggage offer is tempting me !

Factory order one. Quickly.![]()
Make sure you do it before the middle of August when the R1200GS Twin Cam production ends
