Hi: have not posted in along time except to thank BMW training in Wales for getting my wife through her test. Anyway we have been in New Zealand for 5 months. I sold my 1150 GSA before emigrating, good bike and serviced well by Steptoe, only a tad heavy. Having done the essentials we have bought an 1150GS for me and a 650GS for the mensahb. First ride last weekend and we have now joined the large BMW community out here www.bmwor.org.nz. We have a copy of the "New Zealand Motorcycle Atlas" and are planning our route round South Island next summer. Life and Motorcycling are great out here, our social life is quite hectic. If anybody is considering life out here, read our experiences, type "arttelwiki" into any search engine and have a browse, be patient it has to travel a long way.
