New Boots needed

Hello out there, has anyone one tried a set of Michelin pilot road's on an 1150 agventure?

Had them on my 1200. Couldnt get on with them at all,they just gave me no confidence and the bike felt wooden. It just didnt steer anywhere near as easily as usual and I played with pressures to try and improve things. Also went on continental trip and the road noise just had to be experienced to be believed , with or without earplugs. There are some plus points though as after 3000 mile trip they showed no sign of wear whatsoever.

For the record I have used the following on various GSs
Original Tourance (twice)
Battlewing
Tourance EXP (twice)
Avon Azaro/Storm (twice)

All the above made the bike feel much nicer to ride than the Pilot Roads and believe me Im just an ordinary Joe , no pegs down or heroics when Im riding

Thanks chaps, will keep doing homework, for the record Mr badger my off road days are over and my bike has been very naughty recently and needs a bit more of a spank than knobblies can offer.
