My fork legs look fine but the cast bottom lugs are all pock marked with stone chips.

My fork legs were OK, but just wanted to provide (a) a level of protection which could be easily applied & (b) give them a fresh 'look' after all the winter re-furb work

Looking on eBay there are lots of sellers with fork guards from £10,so two pairs easily brought to do same job have to get out n measure dia

Mine came today and are fitted - look good.
Just a thought though...it hurt lol....if riding in wet weather and the covers are wet is that a good idea for them to be wet on the bike and left? Could this not do as much damage as not having them?

Mine arrived yesterday and as you say look good but I did wonder this myself.

Phew not just me then.
I coated my forks in GT85 before putting on the covers, to (a) assist fitting & (b) give a protective coating.
When they get wet, all I intend to do is remove them (dry the forks and re-apply GT85), dry the covers and re-fit....
