New GS owner next week

Hiya everyone thanks for advice on being a shortie, I test rode a 1100 gs on Friday and have decided to get one. I looked at one yesterday and I am having it. Its a 96 with 26,000 on clock, in very good nick, though Im not to keen on colour its black with red seat I wanted a red one though they seem to be like gold dust to find. Its got new tyres on and he is going to put 12 months mot on it, and comes with panniers. I might get a low seat or just get ithe original done in birmingham.

Picked up a GS1100 in Sept with 28K on a T plate. Gets better each time I use it and it handles crap winter roads and cruises with ease. No regrets at all. Have fun.

You'll be needing a pair of red seats to go with your red GS, and I just happen to know where there is a pair going....(cough in my garage cough).
