Have you actually seen it in MCN? The tank is a completely different shape (rumoured with the same 33 litres) more akin with earlier GS's bigger and bulker.
More changes around the front air intake and the beak has the additional front and could even be a bit different shape. The side stand appears to have been changed too ( thank goodness)also those horrible front facing silver bits are gone. The screen has grown up and is taller and wider.
If this bike is any thing like its GSA predecessor then I may well get the wallet out. Unfortunately it has the crappy new switch gear but may have to put up with that.
Some one once said the 1200 GSA looked like the stealth bomber from the front this one certainty follows the trend and certainty will have road presence.
Think I'll let the new r1200gs wc owners iron out all of BMW's problems for them in the next year or so before thinking about buying watercooled adventure.
Mind you the pics do look nice
They said that about the current GSA, but I happily ride one at 5' 7" and 29" inside leg and having seen the effort BMW started to make to lower its "adventure" models can't see the new bike being any worse than the current GSA, so with the standard models low seat not a problem.
If this is the final product it has been around for a long time as the "original" spy shots are very similar to this bike as I said at the time it was the Adv not the standard model.
