New helmet time

A lady member also helped me there at Leeds, didn't mention the fitting one.
It was a very tall lady that helped with my fitting after I said that the cheek pads were very tight. She was very helpful with me.

Yep. Same one. Ha, weird.

Maybe I'll speak to them again and try the NT3 on.

How noisy is it?

Well it’s a little noisier than my old NEXX X WED 2 was but that wasn’t a flip helmet. The Neotec 3 is also a bit heavier. It’s a better fit and more comfortable and it has the flip bit. That wasn’t a great in the warm weather.
In answer to your question it is slightly noisier but unless one is trying to make a distinction between them then it’s not noticeable.

Had a Neotec and a Neotec 2 but couldn't warrant the price of the 3 so switched to a Caberg Tourmax. Its got a peak, sun visor and is modular, it's also quieter than the Neotec but thats prob due to fitment. Whilst it doesn't feel as well built as the Shoei it does have a very good Shark rating 🦈 so safe for the water.

I nipped over to Helmet City(Tatsfield)and got measured up,was very suprised to find I'd gone from XL to 2XL on the Neotec. This wasn't my original style choice, prefer a solid colour(I wanted the anthracite but was £600)

This lid was a sale item, got it for a lot less than list price.I managed to talk meself into having a new comms system fitted, couldn't help meself :D
The 3 feels so much better,but I'm comparing to a 7 yo 2.

Mine is similar colours. They seem to change the colour scheme of the discounted helmet every few weeks. I waited until the colour scheme I wanted was discounted.

Bargain

Have to say I'm very impressed with my X.WED3. Comes with additional pads so you can adjust the fit if needs be. Internal sun visor is great for riding in warm weather as you can keep your visor open for extra breeze. Just back from a circa 4.5k km trip and it never felt wanting. Comes with fittings to mount an action cam on various parts of the lid. Interior is super comfy and can be removed for cleaning when needed. The peak has proved to be very effective especially during evening riding when the sun is low to the horizon. Easy to fit comms unit - I have a Packtalk Bold and prefer to fit my own comms so I can move it on when a new lid is purchased.
