Hi
New member here, Dave from Oxford UK, presenty riding a Yamaha R1 and a KTM offroad bike, have been interested in buying a big GS for a while, ridden a couple over the years but have always been in 'sports mode' having just gotten off my R1, getting closer to taking the plunge nowadays tho'

Greetings & salutations, welcome to the site.....:thumb2

I rode sports bikes for 20 years; got my GS last year, and haven't stopped smiling since....zero regrets....:D :D

Thats good news, welcome to the forum Arch Stanton, loads of information to be had for free here ... go on, make that step, you wont regret it I'm sure.

Welcome, Arch.

The GS is dead boring really. Start it up, ride a couple of hundred miles, get off, have a stretch, repeat.

Seriously, after four years with mine, I am totally happy, and have halved my car mileage since I got it. How's that for a convincing statistic?

hi

Hi,

Have a look at the Thames valley section. We have a monthly meet. Might be worth coming as we have some offroaders amongst us.

cheers
