I'm leaning towards one if these 1190r's more and more
I'd like a demo on one but keep reminding myself its a chain drive which puts me off![]()
that the only thing stopping me
andrewb2006; The w/c gs just didn't float my boat and the engine rattled like a old ducati.[/QUOTE said:Just had the demo bike out from Vines guildford, told the sales guy exactly the same, not for me![]()
Anyone have any thoughts or experience on Hepco and Becker:
I have no idea of the prices but not bad in pics eh...that's the boxes not the bike![]()

Pity the H&B luggage is not tighter, seems like a lot space between them and the bike!
They are probably that far off the bike to allow for the longer, more upright original exhaust.
I've done it finally gone orange, just sold my Triumph Explorer and have ordered a KTM Adventure with lost of bits.

I see that (some) dealers are now doing deals on new 14 model year 1190's with added kit for less than UK RRP![]()

What's this 'rumour' I hear about them not fitting the correct type of oil filter to the new bike and that it could lead to engine damage????????????

Dunno ..... do tell?![]()
I heard it was the airfilters that were the problem , mainly in places like South Africa where there is loads of dust , it gets it to the engine and grenades it
Where did you 'hear' that?
There were reports of slight dusting with the early 690s due to the air box bowing but nothing a bead of silicon couldn't fix.
