I saw a number of police bikes last weekend near bermondsey. They seemed to be in very tight formation - is that normal ? They were probably occupying the footprint of a large 4x4 and not escorting anything.

'Play' is just a general term, we're run wragged all shift, every shift atm. Nearly all the cops were moved to cover Hull and Grimsby. The ERYC very rarely gets any proactive policing now and numbers are always falling due to the cuts.

Surprised they are allowed to ride in very close formation after the recent death of a Police rider in East Yorks- if the reports were correct two police bikes were in close formation and the outer one hcollide with, or was hit by, oncoming traffic.
