how it started

If somebody is interested I want to tell something how my airhead hobby started, hope my English is accepteble

for my 40th birthday ( 1998) I got an R75/6 from my wife, it was time to change from a KTM LC4 to a more relaxed motorbike. :rob

I build it up like ( almost) new again and had lots of fun on this restauration work.

Put the 75/6 for sale and bought a new project

a R90S from 1976 which stood under a tree for 3 years in our small village :bounce1

As you can see a lot work needed to done, now we write 1-1-2003

this project took about 2 years, but the result was quit good (if I may say so)

frame work new powder coating, chrome parts all new, alu and stainless parts polished.

Engine, gearbox and other parts sand/glass blasted , new seals and bearings.

so slowly it started to look nice again

next time more

Welcome to the airhead section! :)

Dont worry about your English.. I doubt it's worse than most of us other tossers! :augie

Keep this pictures coming.. Those are some beautiful bikes! :thumb2

found other weels, the krauser magnesium version are not my favorite
so rims polished, sokes new from stainless steel

started the paint job with a very good friend of mine

after mounting new electrical wiring and switsches, the bike could be finished

this to the R90S, in the mean time the bike is sold to get a budget for the next project which is the GS enduro.
