Better all make your minds up quickly and order them and get them delivered before BREXIT. If BoJo doesn't get his act together and get a banging deal sorted we might all be riding Triumphs because EU bikes may well go up in price.
Dunno, maybe its just me who feels a bit stale with the whole adventure bike thing and a bit been there done it ..
I think the big interesting feel factor that I would want to experience and investigate for myself would be the 44T conversation about the 19'' front not feeling like a 19''. Ive got to admit that going back to 17" after six or seven years of 19 and 21"'s was just super refreshing, and I don't want to come away from that super grippy feel at the moment. But if they say it works .....
I still think the ace card the current model has is the fact that you could put super sticky tyres on it and ride it like a super moto. How many people will off road on this? and is going to 19" a compromise too far for the 95% of road biased riders ..??

Ive only watched the Bennets and 44T videos posted here, but Ive got to say ..... I'm not sitting here thinking ... Damn .... Ive been a bit hasty (I'm picking up a Tuono Factory on Wednesday ... !).
It looks good, but nobody (ok, two journos!) seems to be saying .... WOW !! FUCK !! That is just fucking awesome ...

.Out of interest, did you ride the 2020 1290SDR or Streetfighter V4S or just go straight for the Aprilia ?
Post up pics when you get it.
I didn't. The toss up was always going to be between the 1290GT and the Tuono. On paper the GT makes sense with panniers, larger tank range, better pillion set up for the occasional trip with her indoors, but sometimes you just gotta go with your heart! (and .... I'll keep the 790 Duke for local spanking - it is still a cracking back road bike, and ive also had KTM's for the last five or six years now so fancy a bit of a change)
The plan will be a third bike in the future for chilled out touring. Maybe even a Harley !!
Can’t see the point of a 160/170bhp adventure bike as I’d rather tour on something to enjoy the view and then have something else for hooning.

Prices are getting crazy now. Probably impossible to get insurance in many inner city locations.
Seastar Superbikes ( Norfolk ) website shows V4 base spec,n at 15.400 that 3K less than the S as HArgreaves riding in MCN.
I have just priced up a V4 using the Ducati site £24,950!! .
