New recruit?

Wot I noticed so far....

Since joining this forum yesterday I've made the following observations:

Generally seem to be quite a friendly bunch...
Most welcoming to new people...
Hillarious sense of humour...
Helpful in answering questions...

... so why is it you don't wave at other bikers on the road then? :D

Funny that down here, everybody waves to everybody else, car, bike, truck whatever. As soon as you get out of West Cork, it seems to stop...

That's cos you know everyone there! It's the same here, but once you're on the open road it's a different thing... I wave at evryone. Strangely even got waved at by the Police oop norf - they were on the new Transalps and saluted us lot... it was quite a warming experience :D

Welcome. I was down in Sneem last weekend. What a breath taking place. You would want a fettish for rain though.:thumb2. Great place to test your gear for waterproofing.

Oh.. thanks again for the map Aidan. It worked out Great. Took seven hours but a great ride.:D

Doesn't rain all the time - just seems like it ;) Having said that it's making a pretty good show at the moment, not a day to go for an enjoyable jaunt on the bike
