Morning all,
The temptation to have two sets of wheels got the better of me and I'm awaiting the delivery of the final parts today.
My question is to anyone who has replaced the rotors on their GS800 is, if there is anything in the way of an important spacer/ washer between the hub and the new disc I'm fitting.
I am hoping to not touch the old set of wheels so inspection whilst dismantleing old not an option. I cannot see any space between parts.
I have new bolts (12 front) (5 back), new ABS rings and a torque wrench. What could possibly go wrong.
Can anyone advise?
I'd imagine there is nothing so that the rotor runs exactly parellel to the wheel but worried that omission of an important part might transfer some heat from albeit floating disc to hub with undesired effect.
Thanks in advance
