New pair of Conti Trail Attack tyres have just arrived. £129.99 from M&P Direct. Going to remove the wheels from the bike and take them to my local fitter, who has agreed to fit them for £15 to £20. So about £150.00 all in then.
They had quoted me £208.00 to supply and fit?

Dont know how big a stock M&P have got, but if your looking for new tyres, give them a try.

Can one run a Trail Attack on the front and a Tourance EXP on the rear? I've never been able to sync the wear on my tyres. One always goes before the other.

I would say yes to that as I mix tyres all the time. I very often have say a Tourance on the front and a Battlewing on the back. As long as they are the same tread pattern i.e dual purpose, it's not an issue so mixing Battlewings, Tourances, Trail Attacks, Annakees shouldn't give you any problems whasoever.

I generally use 1 front to 2 rears as a rule of thumb. I change a tyre when needed and am not too bothered what it is because IMHO opinion, they all do the same job!

Not tried mixing TKC's with dual purpose tyres yet though:augie

Not sure about your combination, but I've just fitted a new Trail Attach front with worn Battlewing rear with no ill effects at all.
