New rubber

I have never particularly liked the OE fitment of Anakees, and after having picked up a naill in the front last week ( although expertly reaired by my goodself using the 'sticky worm' repair kit i had) and them being pretty square after less than 4000 miles, I thought i would invest in some new hoops.

Having read lots of different reviews and opinions i opted for Michelin Road Pilot 4s. If for no other reason, lots of bods have been saying good things about them, they were just about the same proce a Continental Trail Attack IIII and Michelin are doing an offer of £25 voucher when you buy a pair. £286 fitted and balanced at Guildford Tyres

So hopefully, they will last a bit better. First impressions though, are good

Well a few dry miles on them today.....nothing spectacualr in tearms or speed or the like but the feel sooooooo much better. Quieter too. think we are going to like these lots!

£286 seems expensive, is that the going rate for two pr4 tyres for the LC? Not sure i could bring myself to pay that if dunlop or conti are significantly cheaper.
