I picked up my new GS on Tuesday and thanks to the good weather now have 300 Miles up. So far so good with mostly positives to report. Negatives, which may be just a case of getting used to them are as follows. Annoying flat spot when Rolling back on the Gas from the Over-run causing a jolt. (My old K1200LT used to do the same and was a real pain). Difficulty using the Direction Indicator Cancel Switch without causing Throttle Movements and more accompanying Jolts. (Never had this problem with any other BMW). Fuel Gauge which reads Full (Tank Brimed) then stays the same for 70 Miles then abruptly drops to half. Any advice on any of the above appreciated before my 600 mile Service next week.
Thanks

The fuel gauge is a solid bar above half and then is segmented, you'll soon be getting 90-100 on just that first half. My average is 190 before needing to fuel but have had it up to 240.
Remember the bike is new, so the engine will be a little tight causing flat spots and jolting.

The indicator cancel switch, I have this problem but only if I wear one of my 5 pairs of gloves, it seems there is not enough thumb span in this particular make, and only that one
