Just bought this absolute minter of a 1200 water cooled in a colour scheme I’ve not seen before
Pretty sure it’s factory done
Anyone know any more about it?
I know firms like bahnstormer have done specials and that motorrad themselves do very low numbers runs of limited editions like the new riviera blue s1000xr

What makes you think it’s factory?

Being totally honest. It looks like a recently resprayed GS.

Did they do a GS TE with spoked wheels ?
The TU from 2016 had spoked wheels

If you look for optional parts, sticker sets are available from the mothership.

so yes could be factory std

Previous owner reckons the stickers on the beak are aftermarket (clear to me also)
But the side panels look like factory paint and quality. I’ve owned 15 versions since 1998 and also a bcr 1100s- when I strip the panels off to clean inside I may know more!

I've still go your E92 335D ............ I do a max of 1,000 miles a year in the car ....... keep thinking I should sell it as I always garage it and think that I should put our more expensive car in there .......... but IMHO it is one of the best cars BMW produced and I have had a few BM's over the years .................

Hi Bill! Fantastic!
Hope she’s been good for you
I’ve had a series of golf’s since and now one of the very last Audi TT’s that were made
I’d love to find a nice diesel 435 xdrive (again one of the last made)but finding a low miler is almost impossible.
Just picked up a mint BMW R1200GS from 2014 which I’m enjoying too.
Hope you and the family are well
David

Hi David,
Thanks
435 x drive .......if you are not going to use it everyday ...maybe the RWD is more fun and certainly the E92 is much smaller, but an Estate makes sense ....I sold our X1 a few months and I did look at the M340D Touring ....... but BMW dealers just put me off as I'm old and grumpy.

Picking up a new Kia EV3 GT Line S next week to go with our BMW i3 ...............I liked the car when I drove it ........... and maybe the 7 year warranty was attractive, but my wife said "are you sure" even though she thought it was a good idea.........anyway we shall see ...........but I'm looking for a 1965 ish Mini Cooper S and if I find one the E92 will have to go as the Mini would go in the garage

Best wishes, Bill
