Riding home from Dent last week I obviously called into Teasdales at Thirsk for a coffee. Parked on the front was a rather nice looking R1100GS. I assumed it was a customers bike and thought no more of it. Chatting to Andy, (he knows I like a bit of a project to clean up) 'what do you think to this' he says, pointing to the 1100GS. A quick blat up the road and 15mins later it's mine. I picked it up this morning and on the way home I thought 'this rides and handles very nicely'. To be honest I didn't give it that close an inspection at the time of puchase as I just thought it was something to do my usual, strip, clean, address any issues, put it back together and offer it to the good folk on here.
On arrival home I had a closer look. A very new looking set of Hagon shocks front and rear. Looking through the paperwork they where only put on last month. Laser exhaust, and some other very tasteful mods. I think but I'm not sure if it has had a servoectomy, I think it may have, but will have to remove the tank to confirm as there is nothing obvious straightaway. Although the is a relay missing in the fusebox which could be the servo relay. All in all I'm very happy with my purchase and it will give me some shed time over the winter months. It'll most probabley be all done by the end of September.
Ever belonged to anyone here? R355 BNC R1100GS in red.
