New toy…

Summers here and so’s my ‘new-to-me’ Gas Gas… Decided I needed an electric start after a couple of days in Wales cursing having to kick start my old Honda in awkward places. My Wife considered it a safety issue , so no trouble there.

I’ve stripped it down to check everything over before it goes out for the first trail rides on Friday. LED lighting and mousses fitted and just ordered a 12l tank but that will wait until next trip now.

Any guidance for a new owner is gratefully appreciated but this is a TBI model (2024) EC250

I had a Gas Gas Pampera back in the day.
No electric start of course but thoroughly enjoyed owning it and it weighed next to nothing.
Only sold it as we were moving to France and I thought it would be nigh on impossible to register it over there.
Of course the chap who bought it from me lived in France but where he lived didn't bother with trivial things like registration.

First green lane done this morning, after visiting my old Mum… I swear that the suspension must have been set up for a proper heavyweight - rock hard everything - so I’ve wound the damping back on the forks and shock. Next step is to remove some preload from the shock and soften it a little
