First post, so hello

2 new toys 1 x 1150Gs Adv Mmmmmmmm.............

1 x Autocom

Backround is Trials Riding, so mechanically good with hands working on off road bike. Electrically not too clever

It has probably been asked before but, I thought it would be easier to ask the people in the know direct.

Black to Earth easy. Red to a 12 Volt live circuit when ignition is on

Where is there an easy accessable 12 Volt wire to solder into

I've connected it using a piggy back spade connector to the pilot bulb in the headlight... That way if your'e listening to music all you need to do to turn off to talk is turn off the pilot light.

Obviously though the autocom won't work unless pilot on....

Scooby...as we speak, the bearded MAster is sweating away over his PC writing a FAQ with all the info in one place on how to fit an autocom on a GS.

Until then, use the search button.....it's all been covered many times in the past and a few clicks will bring up all the info you're after
