NEW R1200GSA

I have just bought a new 30th anniversary GSA with the premium pack and love it. I test rode an 08 plate GSA and found the engine crude, lumpy and lacking some oomph. The new bike is much smoother at lower speeds, has great torque that almost had the missus off the back when she wasnt paying attention and has lots of top end. I have only 250 miles on the clock but I have been away on holidays and have only been playing for 2 days !
The panniers are free but you have to pay for the frames if you don't have the premium pack. I also worked out a deal so I got the 30th anniversay and an alarm for a discounted price at Alan Jeffries thanks to Paul their new sales guy.
The 30th anniversary colours also got lots of looks at Squires when I popped up the other day with a few 'power rangers' asking about the bike
I wish I'd got a free top box, inner bags etc

Did you go for the Dynamic pack aswell then?? I'm taking premium pack only...

I picked up a new 30th Anniversary 1200gsa with both the premium and dynamic pack a couple of weeks ago and received the free side panniers but not the top box. Can anyone please confirm that the top box should have been included?.....any official reference to this offer would be useful...

No, top box is NOT included in the offer, it's just the panniers.

2010 GS using oil????

Bought a new 2010 GS at end of Aug. - great bike, love the engine, handling and whole package. I got the 600ml service done the following week and have only put 1000mls on it since. Issue with oil usage during a couple of longish runs - 1/2 litre top up, is this the norm for a new GS.

Some do, some don't. It's not a problem

No, the top box is NOT included unless you negotiated it..

Got the panniers and top box (locks coded) and inner bags for all three plus a tank bag
30th GSA.
Did not have to negotiate, its what I was offered.

I bought a '10 STD GS three or fiur months ago. I have taken the long way home everyday since and rides on most of my days off. My first GS so cant really compare with previous ones. Had a GSX1400 before the GS and once I got over the GS not having the torque the 1400 has I started to LOVE the ride.

Easy bike to ride, the worse the conditions, the more I like this bike. Plenty of power and torque, I just had to adjust to the way it is delivered. GREAT around tight bends, heaps of fun etc etc....

If I had the money to spend again, I would buy the same bike for sure!

Really to pleased to hear about your biking experience, I ordered (today) a 2010 GS (std also) but with quite a few extras, will post pictures next month when I get her.. I can't wait.. I got a really good deal, £1,000 worth of Rallye suit and boots.
