New Update for 660

I'd be interested as well as I had to down grade from 3.80 -> 3.50. Webupdater only shows 3.80 as of May and download page only shows 3.50.

However the OP might be referring to the 665 which has had a new release this week??

There is an update for the Zumo 665 posted today via webupdater, v2.20

2.20 looks like it solves the problems that 3.80 brought to the Zumo 660, so it can only be a short amount of time before an update is posted for the 660 too.

Keep checking webupdater if you're about to go away for the weekend :augie
 
The Garmin blog entry only says that there's some free software to download, it doesn't say there's a firmware upgrade. There are some updated voice and text files available from Web Updater.
 
My dashboard says "there is a software update available"
Shall I be crash test dummy? :rolleyes:

I'll be interested to know what number they've given to the update.

I doubt they would waste 4.00 on a bug fix, so I'm guessing 3.85 or 3.90 ?

So as the man said earlier, it looks like 2.20?

So far so good, it still powers up.
Though, shortest route to RHB = 152mls, shortest route avoiding motorways = 148mls. We'll go that way then :augie

2.20 is for the 665 only, I'm assuming you have a 660 ?

The versions you have quoted is for the individule sections, there will be a overal version number if you go back one level.
 
Just plugged my 660 into WebUpdater and only got the following:

zumo 660 (region file only) software version 3.80
as of May 11, 2010

Ah, I missed what you said, "My dashboard says" ...

My dashboard is famous for telling you there is an update when there is not an update, even after you have loaded a real update.

So, no you've not updated your firmware, just perhaps a few text files, but nothing important. :)
