I downloaed it a couple of weeks ago and have used it in France already. The best change (and only real one that I've noticed) is that you now have a choice of how much info you want on your map. I've chosen the 'more info' option and it gives 4 pieces of information on the right-hand side, adaptable to what you want, with a smaller map. As the screen is pretty wide, I think this is a good compromise. You will have to reset all of your choices such as audio but that's no biggy. A good update in my opinion.
