Thought this would be of interest. NewV2 890 seems to slot in neatly between old 950S and old V2 Pani....much more road oriented than older V2 bike, more comfortable ergos which has to be good news. A bit pricey for what it is but the build and quality seem good. Real world on road performance and set up means it's probably quicker A to B on UK roads than the older one and shouldn't cripple the rider after an hour's run (old one was anything but comfortable which is why I opted for the 950). I'm delighted with the 950s so no plans to chop it in for the V2 as there's not a lot between them. Servicing costs should be lower as the new motor's non desmo.
