New year, new project bike

Looks amazing, love the Exhaust, be a shame to get it dirty

A bit more progress tonight tacking on the new framework and cutting out the old reinforcements no longer required. Bit of filing required to tidy things up where the old bits have been cut out

Tonight’s job was finishing of filing off the old brackets (tedious’) and then making and tacking on the mounting tabs for the mudguard. Just need to make brackets for the seat attachments and the exhaust hanger next

Welding all finished, next job is to mount the mudguard and exhaust then it’s off for powder

Subframe finally back from powder coating. I fitted the carbs, battery and airbox while I was waiting and knocked up a polyurethane anti vibration bush for the top exhaust mount, this being more to allow the exhaust to expand and contract rather than stop any vibration. Oh and I managed to fit in a quick trip to the Vosges and Black Forest on the 1150 too :D:D:D
