Hi all.
Been a lurker for a while now, and finally biting the bullet tomorrow, going to buy a R1200GSA... Purely because my current bike has been off the road for the past 3 months in bits, and its a bit of a moose as it's still not right after putting £££'s into it...
I've already test ridden the GSA down at the Touratech event in June, fell in love with it straight away. And considering I've been hooning about on a jap inline4 (Bandit 1200) for the past 12 months before, was quite surprised! But then, I am a bit of a fat git, so it did feel just right
So yeah... Just wondering what to expect, how best to haggle, etc etc... I'm opting for the 30th edition, so just wondering what optional extras (other than the Extended Warranty) are worth going for? Although I don't want ESA and ASC (reading on here has already persuaded me not to bother with it)
I'll be heading to Chester Motorrad (local to me) as I'm based in Cheshire.
As for how I ride, well, the bike *is* my only form of getting about, regardless of weather, wind, rain, sleet, snow, frost... I'm out and about.
Cheers for any tips and advice, I know it's quite short notice, but I only decided earlier today to do this. I've been toying with the idea for the past 3 months about getting one, and now it's happening...
