Hi Guys & Girls,

New to the site so just saying a quick hello. I bought my 05 GS in January and commute daily (104 mile round trip) so am piling the miles on. It's so much more fun looking down on the M62 carpark weaving between the lanes.

Always up for a meet or ride out so keep posting.

Had a cracking ride out last weekend around Wales 06:00 departure (before the old bill wake up thier speed cameras) back by 12:00 to keep my dear wife smiling

I work up in Bradford so am meeting up with The Yorkshire chapter tonight in a place called Appletreewick, sounds like it'll be full of witches and goblins......

Definitely up for a ride out but not this Sunday i'm afraid. I doing the Great North Run Week after next and this Sunday is my last opportunity to test if I have any hope of finishing it.

Stay in toiuch and we'll sort sometining out. I do normally go out Sundays with some mates but we leave pretty early in the morning to avoid traffic and cops.

Sounds like there a cheshire bunch brewing!!

Went to great meet last night with the Yorkshire crew.

It was the most fantastic oldy worldy pub off the main road, so far off the beaten track in fact, that even Ewan and Charlie would struggle to find it.

Past through a place,Appletwistle, and was looking for hansle and grettle (hope it's spelt right)

It's away up the hills from Bolton Abbey and had 6 real ales on draft. Really pissed off to be drinking diet coke.

I think a camping (piss up) weekend might be in order to sample the local fare, perhaps a joint area meeting!! the Yorkshire boys are keen to organise one. It took me an hour to get back although I was clogging it along the M65, so it's not that far out.

Any takers before winter sets in??
