Nice video R1200 GS somewhere out in Germany

Hmm....

Average road positioning, slow on the hairpins and clunky downchanges without rev-matching. :(

He also appears to keep his head upright in corners and why were the overtakes faded out?

Very abrupt with the throttle too :eek............but hey ho.. we are all different and I'd rather be a bit slower to get there and smoother but arrive less 'stressed' and in one piece.:thumb

Great road .

I would be a little hasher than this .............
Poor road positioning at virtually every step of the way, badly judged overtake on the first cyclist, and are the overtakes that bad that he has to fade them out?
As Schtum says "head upright in corners", which clearly does not match with the rowing action used on the handlebars to transition between bends.

And, heaven forbid, he has more videos out there including St Bernards Pass to name but one.

Clearly ridden and produced by the "How Not to Do It" brigade, or at least good ammo for them to use.

As for the second video, apart from incorrectly titled as a 1200, this man clearly rides there often and well, generally good position, excellent forward observation, uses the bike to its full in most situations, just rather bold on his entry to restricted speed limits.

But what would I know?
