Well I have just fitted one of Normans Autoswitches and it works well.
Although the concept is the same it is a bit different from Robs switch. As with Robs, you hold the indicator button in for the same amount of time, as in 0.8 sec, but unlike Robs, the LED then starts flashing red to tell you the lights will come on when you release the button. Then, when the lights are on its stays lit red, or it may be the otherway around.....
The same applies when you go to turn them off, hold the button for 0.8 sec, the LED starts flashing red, so that you are made aware that when you release the button the lights will go of.
The LED is very bright so viewing it during the day is nice and easy. Nice touch and useful if you ride with your lights on during the day and if like me you sometimes leave your finger on the cancel button a bit to long to cancel the indicators at least you have a good visable warning
I would be happier if the cable for the LED had some PVC sleeving on to help protect it though.
