No power to Fuel pump

Hi, I have found the problem, the 4 pin male plug (bike side) has power going in but none at the pin. must be a break inside the din plug. I don't know how to take the pins apart and repair the wire

Don't bother just get a connector strip and connect the wires via this and ditch the connector, or just buy another connector problem sloved.

Bodge City :D - that'd make it a bit tricky to get the tank off ;)

I have heard of people removing the pins from plugs like that but I've not tried it myself. I think you need to find a metal tube (biro insert?) which just fits over the pin - this presses in the little barbs that hold the pin in the plastic plug.

I had the same problem after removing the Spyball Alarm system.
The problem was that the green core (pump 12v supply) of the pump/sensor connector had overheated over time and fractured in one half of the connector pair.
The dealer cut the wires back and made a join with spade connectors.
I have also tried to extract the pins/sockets but the clearance around the female connector is so small that you can't get even a biro tube down. If it's possible to bend an old feeler gauge to fit, maybe?
If anyone finds a source of the AMP connector parts please let us know. I can't find it on the AMP website
