NOG are usually pretty good, but I called to book my bike in for a dodgy power socket and a couple of other bits and the first time they could look at the bike was 13th June:eek:

I can handle a week or even two if it's not serious, but that's nearly a month lead time from when I called.

Any one know if there are any problems there?

Have you made yourself available at short notice??...someone's bound to cancel their appointment between now and June, and if they're prepared to to call you and offer you the space, everyone's happy:thumb2
I would imagine that the only problem they have is called "Being Bloody Busy In The Middle Of Summer"...but I could be wrong

Yeah, tried that - got it brought forward to the 6th if I wait for it rather than have a loan bike. Still a bit crap.

I booked my GSA in for a 6k service with them back in the beginning of May and they offered me a date within 10 days with a free courtesy bike :thumb

Lead times are a seasonal issue and you can't please all the people all of the time. I'm not surprised the lead time is over three weeks long as there's a big orange thing just appeared in the skies

Count yourself lucky, Martin, I didn't get an appointment before the 7th...

...and even for that I had to sleep with the sales guy... :augie

I have had to wait a few weeks, going in on Thursday, but they said it was due to the weather the other week getting all warm too early :thumb

Desperate measures indeed...

Still, I went and saw one of the other nice sales people today, and without me having to give him a snog:D he sold me a nice little 650gs for mrs msgs1200. Very chuffed she is too, likes the colour a lot.

Now all she needs to do is pass her test, she's doing Direct Access down at worldofbmw in June.:)

Silly girl - should have slept with the service manager :rob

:blast
