I seem to be calling here for help more and more often so thanks to everyone for the help and advice.
I have just fit a touratech 42ltr tank to my 1150 gs and now the fuel pump is noisy and can be heard even when the engine is running.
I replaced the pump with a second hand one but the problem remains.
I have ridden the bike for 2 / 3 miles and it runs well enough but the noise concerns me especially as the pump is surrounded by fuel.
Can anybody else here their pump when running and has anyone got any ideas as to a sollution.
I leave in 12 days for a bmw tour and need to get this sorted.
