I can’t figure out why this is happening.

I plug the adaptor block into my Nokia N73 and then attach the phone lead to the adaptor block, but when I attach the phone lead to the AUX1 on my active plus 200 the phone window shows “speak now” wanting a voice activated call. and then says “no match found” it keeps going (really annoying) until I disconnect the adaptor block or the phone lead.

This happens whether the active plus is powered up or not.

I cant figure out if there’s a fault with the phone, adaptor block, phone lead or active plus.

Anyone got any ideas:confused:

The leads at some point haven't been wired correctly for your phone. The leads are fooling the phone into thinking there's an open mike for voice activating dialing. Happened to my Nokia N95 until I used a proper Nokia block. If the problem is with the Autocom lead, perhaps you've got the wrong one?

I would say there will be a problem with the phone itself as all our systems are doing is getting the audio to and from the phone itself. I have never heard of this issue before but Nokia's can cause the odd problem from time to time.

Just had a similar sounding (!) problem when connecting a PMR. Doug at Autocom said later model 200 kits sense a PTT (call) voltage at Aux 1. He prescribed a part 1282 which has sorted the issue - might be worth a chat with him

This could be my problem as have just attached a PMR radio and leads to the autocom, Must have a look to see what part 1282 is.
