I have a Nokia N73, great phone, pics etc.
BUT it keeps going on line when i dont want it to.
To be honest i dont ever go on line with me phone , so can live without net connection.
Does anyone know how i can stop it!!!, bloody bills will be a new panniers system at this rate.

Prob not much help but I recently got one of these and have no problems, as you say it's a great little phone.

However, I think there were issues with earlier versions of the firmware (which are now resolved). It could be worth checking what version you have; you can download the later version from Nokia.

The wife keeps running up web costs on her N73, not quite sure how. Will be interested to know if you find a solution. I know if you press the wrong button it can try and download music from the net, or upload your photos. I've always assumed it to be user error doing this - cause I'd never tell the wife its her own fault :D

Can't think why, apart from a faulty phone, only thought is that the top right and top left buttons can be set to open
any of the phones applications. If you set these to something less expensive, such as bluetooth and music instead of
contacts and web it might stop the web being opened accidentally. The other thing is, you can download an auto
lock application for the N73, I'll have a look for the link and post it here, it locks your phone after (I think) 5 seconds.

Edit: Keypad AutoLock is HERE

Press the MENU button (left of 1 & 4), then select TOOLS, then SETTINGS, then PHONE, scroll down to STANDBY MODE,
then scroll down to SELECTION KEY, then tick the box of another application that won't cost you money, Bluetooth ?
