Himmy 450s.
Had to use rented 411s as the pass is operated by the military . They even had to rent a back up Jeep and not use there’s . Bikes seemed ok . They’re shit as sea level so 3 1/2 miles up won’t be that noticeable!

What’s your opinion on the 450’s? They look like a significant upgrade.
Looks as I remember. Blows your mind . Makes you feel so small . The lower parts look like Scotland !!

Great bikes . I did own one I took to Picos then rode home .
We were off-road for most of day 2 here and some of it was extremely gnarly . Bikes were brilliant .
It’s going to get even trickier next few days
Another cracking day of blue skies
It looks fabulous but as I have no head for heights, it's not for me. Having said that I did manage both Tizi n Tichka and Tizi n Test on a trip to Morocco, but I was concentrating so hard on riding I didn't really notice the height (2,260 metres or 7,415 feet). It doesn't compare heightwise with Himalaya, but it's still 'kin' high. My neighbour did a similar trip on a Scram. He's a year or two younger than me and much fitter but he struggled with the long days riding at altitude.

At 42 mins you can see the effect of altitude! Great video thanks for digging out and posting

The bikes are superb in my view - cannot believe the punishment they take here, day after day and just keep going.

Utter carnage . Roads blocked with rock falls . Roads washed away requiring traversing a 50 metre stretch of fast flowing water up to about 18 inches deep in the dark
Then 30km off-road on a narrow track cut into the rock with a 3000 ft drop .
We all made it somehow .

He was fine as did a double back flip with half twist as bike went over .

I remember one trip where we were crossing a river when a flash flood occurred . Some of the riders were cut off from the main group as was the support truck . One rider was nearly washed away but hauled through the swollen river to safety . That night we had no spare clothes so everyone sat around in their pants …….. there was no proper food just whiskey !! There was nearly a mutiny !!
