hi iam thinking of buying the above but it has not got a card or any maps installed. is this expensive or difficult to do. the price of the garmin is £60.00 is this worth it

walk away
you have to register with garmin then buy the card and mapping,
more to the point how do you know it works.
spend more and get one fully working.
my 2p worth.

Yes you can get USA mapping. Just order "North America City Navigator".

Also, having just broken my SP3 and upgraded to a Zumo, I've now got some data cards surplus to requirements. I'll take sensible offers on 2 x 256Mb (e-bay = £80) and 2 x 128Mb cards (e-bay = £35). 01424721889 or 07760121225.
