Non starting 1150 GSA

Running again!!

Yippee!!!!, well done we all have these probs but glad it's sorted, as we've all been driven nuts by things like that. Now go down the pub or in the fridge and have a few and REMEMBER it for the future.

I sincerely hope you used new hose clips.... If I am correct (I'm sure Steptoe will be able to set me right if Im not) the clips usthere retain the filter should be renewed EVERY time the filter is re-fitted because they are designed as a "single shot" deal and lose their strength if re-used....

A good friend has just had to have his bike recovered to the guy who replaced his filter 500 miles ago, because of the same problem...

Ok, here we go, firstly thanks to all for your suggestions and for not ripping the piss out of me!! Although I am obviously fair game in the future :augie

Checked the injectors and not getting fuel to them so..........

Whipped the tank off (yes I know using tools would have been quicker) :D

Took out the fuel pump assembly and would you believe, the fuel line had come off the back of the fuel filter!!!!:blast

All reattached and it fired up first time.

Has anyone experienced this before or is it just me?????

Anyhoo thanks again to everyone :beerjug:

Great news!!!
Well done on finding the fault and thanks for posting the outcome. You never know, it might help others in future.
