I am about to swap my RT for a new GS TB tomorrow. I phoned NOG on the off chance that they still had new GS's and they had two. I have to say that Simon has been a pleasure to deal with. Excellent pricing, couldn't do more for me - and they don't know me from Adam:blagblah

Looking forward to picking it up tomorrow and meeting the chaps :beerjug:

I had a good experience with NOG buying my K1300S but to be fair CW at Dorchester have also been excellent with the service and spares depts going above and beyond my expectations.

I have had excellent service at Woods of Salisbury, maybe BMW service is worth the money.

We just had a pickup truck at work serviced at Edwards Ford Salisbury and I left having been fleeced to the tune of nearly £500 for a twelve month service. Last time it's serviced there.

Phil, Simon and all at NOG,

Really impressed by your dealership and the fact that you take in other makes of bikes is a good move imo. The GS is great, better than I thought it would be! It certainly has the fun factor that the (albeit brilliant) RT didn't.

See you all on Wednesday for its first service - 252 miles so far.....

Steve

you might not be quite so impressed with pricing when you get charged $170 first service ,that should be done in under an hour.

Well quite an eventful couple of weeks. Bought the GS and ran it in over the weekend and took it in for its 600ml service (borrowed a nice new BMW scoot to pop to Bibury for brekky). Turns out the GS had a small oil leak from the Balancer Shaft oil seal which scuppered my Ireland trip the following day. No problem says Phil, take a Demo bike. I need full luggage I reply. Then take the Big K with all the boxes! So I had a K16GT for my trip to Cong in Mayo.

Picked up the GS yesterday, sparkling clean, with oil leak fixed and some farkles that I bought from Moto Bins added at no cost - Brilliant service. And the service KennyBoy, was Much :bounce1 cheaper than you forecasted :D

So, again, thank you to all at NOG. My first experience of this dealership and certainly won't be my last :beerjug:

Oh, and the Big K - what a bike, engine wonderful, ergo's spot on, electronics well thought out, handled well and great ride quality. It was, on reflection a bit too much for the narrow, lumpy, twisty roads of ireland which a GS would have been more suited. However, get it on smooth A road's and the thing excels.

Here are some photo's of the trip and the Big K is around in some of them:

Thank you NOG

Always been impressed with the NOG experience, that's why I continue to travel over there when I could easily drop the bike off at Clarks on my way to work. Had a major service yesterday on my 1150GSA and didn't need to use a day of precious leave as I set myself up at one of the work stations upstairs and took advantage of the wi-fi and cups of tea. Matt looked after me on price as usual and I didn't even take him a bag of donuts! While I am fully aware that there are cheaper options than dealers, I'm not competant or confident enough to do the work myself and have fallen foul of 'Freds In Sheds' before and ended up with greater costs in the long run.

Cheers NOG:beerjug:
