Well NOG have come up trumps again.

Bike recovered to them late on Saturday (like 5pm).

Despite a full workshop, diagnosed by Monday lunchtime and parts ordered.

Parts arrived, fitted, bike washed and full Winter wax foc (& some minor warranty work) and delivered back to my home by Tuesday afternoon.

P****d off at bike breaking down but dealer response was exemplary.

Fuel pump. There's a separate thread somewhere but I'm too lazy to find it. :)

I suspect a dodgy batch early on as mine went at the end of May. The replacement part arrived much earlier than originally predicted so I suspect something was cannibalised and I got another from the same batch which proceeded to pack up in October. However do a search as there is also a school of thought that it is due to water ingress into the housings.

I just ordered a new bike from North Oxford without researching their reputation - it's great to hear good things about them

Blimey the second 6 month old thread of mine to return from the grave this week. Fame at last. :D

Multiscan,
Yep, I've got a lot of time for NOG.

Got to agree with you Paul, I've had two services done and the dreaded failed servos replaced by NOG, and I have found them to be a really good crew.

Please elaborate - I almost ordered non-abs because of the f***ing brake servos.

I'm beginning to think I made the wrong decision.
