Norway Norway Norway!

This is one of my first post in this forum... a long time ago!
I wrote much of this information in English and in Norwegian, and I made a list of words you might need to know.
The road Turtagrø - Øvre Årdal is mentioned, and that is a road you won't find in bad or old maps.

Campsites :thumb

My old computer (steam driven, to-stroke, pre Christ) can't open that...
-Is it possible to post an adress to a site or something?

It's a list of waypoints for campsites. You need a GPS unit to open it Liv :thumb

Looks a bit like this....

Webcams, Norway.

I was thinking you might like to see some webcams?

http://www.aftenposten.no/english/webcam/
I have not checked out all if they are still active; -there are so many!
But I looked at those who shows Oslo:
--Klick at Oslo, and at the list I think ''Aker Brygge'' is OK - it's an area with pubs and restaurants.
--And I think ''Herbern Aker Bryge'' is OK when the parasol in front of the camera is down - it shows a restaurant, some of the fjord and small boats.
--The camera at ''Tryvann'' rotates, so you may see only trees, or the fjord/harbour in Oslo.
--''Oslo utsikt fra posthuset nord'' are showing a Biskop Gunnerus Gate. (That is close to Jernbanetorget, and that is at the end of Karl Johans Gate. At the other end of Karl Johans Gate is Slottet, where King Harald and his wife lives. You can't see Karl Johans Gate or Slottet...)
--''Oslo Youngstorget'' is a good one; it shows a marketplace, that too is close to Karl Johans Gate.

That link goes to many cameraes in Norway.

More webcams!

I think this http://www.webcamsinnorway.com/webcams.php is better:
You can choose regions, what we call ''fylke'', and Østfold, Finmark and Vest Agder is fylker - and we have more!

I had a look at a few, like;
Region Finnmark (that is where Nordkapp (North Cape) is, and Vadsø, Vardø, Kirkenes, Alta are.
Vardø:
Vardø harbour and Vardø Strandgate is in the city as far east as you can go in Norway, up north.
Mehamn is OK.
Honningsvåg is not far from Nordkapp.

Region Nordland is where you'll find Leknes, Lofoten, Kabelvåg, Svolvær and Vesterålen; I guess you like those cameraes.

Region Troms:
Tromsø centre - it shows the city and Ishavskatedralen (the house look like an A) in good weather.

Østfold;
Fredrikstad gågata - you can see some of the fortress and the city.

Svalbard;
most of the cameraes seems to be OK. And it's faaaaar north - islands!

And there is Region Vestfold:
Verdens Ende = the end of the world!

Here http://www.hurtigruten.com/en/default.aspx is Hurtigruta / Hurtigruten.
Hurtigruta is large boats, sailing from Trondheim, passing Nordkapp, and east to Vardø and to Kirkenes.
The boats have webcams!
And there is a map showing where the boats are.

If you want tickets for you and your motorbike, and a cabin, you better order now for next summer. You can sail from one harbour to the next, or more.
I don't think it is cheap... But all tourists seems to love it!
