Hey "blues n twos", you are of course welcome to wash my bike anytime. Will drop it off with you when back from The Vince at end of July.

The thing is I actually enjoy cleaning stuff. Especially bikes and cars
A close look over after every clean helps you spot potential problems. My previous 1200GSA had a good clean before my Morocco trip last year and I spotted the rear ESA weepingit was replaced under warranty 1 week before a 3000 mile trip. Had I not noticed it, it would have been a holiday wrecker
Everyone has their little quirks and mine is keeping my "expensive" purchases looking like new for as long as possible
Fitted MRA touring screen today with cymarc screen supports and buffeting cured![]()

Well I've invested a lot of my hard earned into a bike I enjoy riding. I've not "invested" to make moneyI know it will only be worth £8k in four years time but I don't care about that. What I do care about is looking after things I have worked fuckin hard to buy
I see you use yours off-road and I watched your videos and much respect as you are a far better rider than I for what you did
But I do not just rinse salt off, I'm an amateur detailer so if I'm going to clean something it's going to be done well and I enjoy doing it

Is there a better way to clean between the cylinder head fins than with cotton buds? It takes flippin' ages!!!
I think I might need a ramp to clean mine properly.![]()

Well I might eventually paint the panels white and keep the seat blue aka the new adv SE![]()
Please, please don't stop cleaning and looking after them...when it's 8 years old and £6k I can look forward to buying a nice tidy bike![]()
When I first got my 1150GS, way back in 2002. My dealer of choice at the time SPC, sent me a complimentary Muc-off cleaning kit. I used it occasionally.![]()

Was warned by the dealer I use, not to use this stuff as it is "not compatible with BMW motorcycles"
<br/> you will now!I don't think muc off is too clever on BMW engine paint and wheels mate, it's acidic or something along the lines of being more aggressive than other cleaners.
