Here's the bold lad at Horizons Unlimited 2011.

I've been trying (=failing) to catch up with Oisin's story of the 'second' trip N-S thru Americas and then back to Ireland and around the world to New York. I've lost track of the timing of things and specifically the attempt to create a documentary with his US buddy (loosley used, as I know there was a split-up). When did he and Joe part ways - is this detailed in a Youtube posting or on the blog? The blog uses 'we' up to about Nicaragua and thereafter 'I' so presumably somewhere around here?

One of the first things I read/watched when I joined this site was his RTW log. I absolutely loved those little vids of the bike stuck in the snow/mud in Mongolia. Chilled the bones just watching it (in my heated office).

Anyone know why the videos were taken down? I was on number 25 :tears
If someone here knows Oisin, can they ask? He's username is thebigfella here and on Biker.ie.
Loads of people on various forums are asking about it!

He does throw tantrums occasionally and goes off sulking.... looks like he has had another one

Yeah, he took them down before because he said he thought no one was watching them. Even though every motorcycle forum had a thread on it and obviously loads of people were.
And still no reason to take them down imho, might as well leave them up!
But due to popular demand he put them back up. Only to take them down again!

I recon he's taken them down to improve the sound mix. Either that or he's cutting it down to make it more watchable. Personally I would have l watched it all again. 'twas great. Anyway the last episode was a bit of an anti climax. He gets to New York and comes home. Seemed a bit of an anti climax maybe not. Maybe he's working on the feature film. Either way, nice one Oisin.

Having read his books, I was truly impressed by his solo RTW trip. Yup, I watched "Long way round" and thought it was great at the time, but having just watched Oisin's 34 video clips back-to-back, I am in awe at his adventure.

Ewan & Charlie, you can fuck off with your effort. Oisin is hard core. :bow

Couldn't agree more, finished watching the 34 video yesterday, been watching them in my lunch hour great way to spend the time. It must have taken a lot of work for him, glad he made the effort! Just started the 1st book now, you have to have great respect for these solo travellers puts all my European tours to shame (they are hard core to me.....lol)

Just finished the 34th video. Brilliant series. Well worth a watch. Oisin you're a legend and you dwarf my biking achievements even more so than you dwarf me in that photo above :-)

Its a cat and mouse game finding this series, I last saw it on Vimeo. First rate, a LWR type thing, but in solo without the support crew. Really weird how Oisin pulled it on here.
