this tax for off the road cars dose this apply to bikes as if so i think i could be fucked as too many bikes without tax?

I thought I read a while back that we'd have the option that they have in Britland... SORNing a vehicle....in other words swearing it off the road in advance, not afterwards when you've got away with a few months driving with no tax.

I was told tonight that this isn't allowed for.

Anybody know which is correct?

The reason this is to happen is due to the amount of tax being lost through vehicles being driven for 12 months a year and taxed for 9 or 10.
